What an in-home furniture move covers
This booking is for heavy pieces that stay at your address. A sectional from the living room to a bonus room, a bed and dresser moved upstairs for a guest, a home office set up in a spare bedroom, or a room cleared before painting or new flooring and put back after. The crew protects the floors and door frames, carries the pieces, and places them where you point.
Because nothing leaves the address, there is no truck on the job and no drive time on the clock. You pay for the crew's time in the home. Tell us which pieces are moving, from which room to which room, and whether stairs are involved, so we send the right number of people.

Common jobs we see
Before and after flooring or paint: the crew moves furniture out of the room, then comes back to put it in place when the work is done. Book both visits, or tell us the dates and we hold them. A new baby or a parent moving in: a bedroom set swaps rooms, or a bed goes upstairs. A home office: a desk, shelves, and a filing cabinet move into a spare room.
Heavy single pieces inside the home are normal too. An armoire up a stair, a sleeper sofa through a tight hallway, or a treadmill out to the garage. Some pieces have to come apart to turn a corner. Say so when you book and keep the hardware with the piece.

How this differs from a small move
If the piece leaves your address, the job is a small move or a full-service move, because it needs a truck and a drive. This page is only for furniture that stays in the same home. If you are moving a few pieces in and a few pieces out, tell us both lists and we will quote the right booking.

How an in-home job is quoted
In-home jobs are hourly, with the same local rate and minimum used on other local work. Stairs, a long hallway, and a piece that has to come apart add time. Two movers handle most rooms. A piano, a gun safe, or a very heavy armoire may need more people. We explain the crew size before the day.
Clear a path before the crew arrives, empty drawers in heavy dressers, and take fragile items off shelves. That keeps the job short and safe. Hours are Sun-Fri, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM; Sat, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Yes. Book the first visit before the flooring or paint crew starts, and the second visit for when they finish. Tell us both dates when you book.
Our rate is $95 per hour, per mover. We confirm your crew size when we quote. 2-hour minimum.
The crew can take apart a simple bed, table, or desk to turn a tight corner and put it back together in the new room. Keep the hardware with the piece. We do not repair a broken frame.
Please do. Empty heavy dressers and take fragile items off shelves before the crew arrives. It keeps the pieces lighter and safer to carry.
