After you settle into Ocoee, get outside. Bill Breeze Park, at 125 N Lakeshore Drive, sits on Starke Lake. The open field, the gazebo, and the Veterans Memorial are a short walk from downtown once the boxes are down.
Want something more active? Municipal Lakefront Park, at 150 N Lakeshore Drive, is the next block on Starke Lake. The boat launch and the fishing pier sit on the same shore.
Prefer a slower hour? Walk Oakland Avenue past the Withers-Maguire House, at 16 E Oakland Avenue. The historic house and its porch are quieter in the morning than State Road 50 at a weekday peak.
Rest & Relaxation
Moving day is a lot. When the heavy work is done, sit by Starke Lake. A bench at Bill Breeze Park is the simpler option if you would rather stay outside while Toro Movers handles the lift and load.
