03 / Local
Longwood sits in Seminole County, about 12 miles north of downtown Orlando, on the 434 corridor. Interstate 4 meets State Road 434 in town. West of that interchange, SR 434 is also signed as Wekiva Springs Road and reaches Sabal Point and the Wekiva subdivisions. US 17-92, also signed as Orlando Avenue, runs north and south on the east side of the historic district. East of Orlando Avenue, SR 434 continues toward Rangeline Road, Sweetwater Oaks, and Winter Springs. Historic downtown sits east of the railroad, along Church Avenue, with the Longwood SunRail station beside those older blocks. Lake Mary is the next city north. Altamonte Springs sits to the south. Whether you are moving into Longwood or heading out to Lake Mary, Altamonte Springs, or Orlando, Toro Movers is here to keep the day simple.
Our Longwood, FL movers help with historic houses along Church Avenue, ranch homes off State Road 434, and houses in Sabal Point, Wekiva, and Sweetwater Oaks. Church Avenue lots are often too short for a truck, so the truck stands at the curb the block allows. Ranch homes off SR 434 often have a car already in the driveway and a bedroom up a straight stair. Sabal Point, west of Interstate 4, has an HOA and streets that can be tight for a truck. Sweetwater Oaks, on Lake Brantley, is an established neighborhood of ranch homes and mature trees east of Rangeline Road. Apartments near the SR 434 interchange need the floor and the loading spot the building allows. You can book in English or Spanish. We confirm your crew size when we quote, show up ready to work, and keep the focus on a clean, careful move.
Neighborhoods we move in
After you settle into Longwood, get outside. Big Tree Park, at 761 General Hutchison Parkway, keeps a boardwalk through the hammock. Lady Liberty, the old cypress, still stands where visitors come to remember The Senator.
Want something more active? The Cross Seminole Trail uses Big Tree Park as a trailhead. The paved path leaves the boardwalk and runs through this part of Seminole County.
Prefer a slower hour? Walk Church Avenue in historic downtown. The oaks and the short blocks are quieter in the morning than Interstate 4 at a weekday peak.
Moving day is a lot. When the heavy work is done, sit in the historic district. The Bradlee-McIntyre House, at 130 W Warren Avenue, is the simpler stop if you would rather stay among the older blocks while Toro Movers handles the lift and load.
Once the truck is gone and the keys are in, eat at The Good Way Cafe. The cafe, at 111 W Magnolia Avenue, sits in historic downtown Longwood. Church Avenue is a short walk if you want to stay among the older blocks after the meal.

Read our reviewsGreat experience! The team was on time, professional, and handled everything with care. Very easy to work with and made my move stress-free, I highly recommend! Apartment move
Very communicative about timing and friendly throughout. They even hauled some large furniture to the dumpster for me — huge help, didn't have to hire a different service. So far everything made it to the new place without damage. Highly recommend! Full-service move
Moved my mom from her apartment in Kissimmee to assisted living in Clermont. The crew was patient with her — she kept changing her mind about what was going and what was staying. Nobody complained. Took longer than expected but the hourly rate was upfront so no shock. Kissimmee → Clermont
Obed and his team did a fantastic job on short notice — moved furniture from another house I'd purchased. Disassembled and reassembled everything quickly and efficiently! Short notice · disassembly
Last-minute move was super stressful, we'd run out of steam. Called Toro and explained — without hesitation, they worked us in, packed and moved everything to storage within our time limit. The guys were extremely nice. Saved the day! Same-week storage move
Used their labor-only option since I already had a U-Haul. Two guys loaded everything in under 2 hours and unloaded in 45 minutes at the new place. They Tetris'd that truck like it was their job (because it is, lol). Labor only

Yes. Historic Longwood along Church Avenue means mature oaks, shorter driveways, and older staircases. Tell us where the truck can stand, and whether the house has a tight turn or a narrow doorway.
Yes. Ranch homes off State Road 434, Sabal Point, Wekiva, and Sweetwater Oaks are regular Longwood stops. Tell us if the lot is narrow, which rooms are upstairs, and where the truck can stand.
