Moving in South Orlando
South Orlando on this page means the neighborhoods south of downtown and north of the Osceola County line: Pine Castle, Southchase, Meadow Woods, and Hunters Creek. Pine Castle is the older community along Orange Avenue, which is State Road 527, west of Orlando International Airport. Hunters Creek, Meadow Woods, and Southchase were built later as master-planned areas. Toro Movers started in 2024 and is family-owned. You can book the crew in English or in Spanish.
The housing changes from one of these places to the next, so a quote needs the street. Pine Castle is mostly single-family houses on smaller lots. Hunters Creek is a large planned community with a town center, houses, and apartments, south of State Road 528. Meadow Woods is a census-designated place organized around Landstar Boulevard. Southchase is a planned community east of Orange Blossom Trail, near Florida's Turnpike and Wetherbee Road. "South of downtown" is not enough to plan the truck.
Gates, older streets, and the airport
Hunters Creek and Southchase are association communities. Ask for the gate, the move window, and where a truck may stand, and send that note before the day. Meadow Woods apartments along Landstar Boulevard and Wetherbee Road follow the building's own loading rules. Ask for the floor, whether the elevator has to be reserved, and which door to use. Pine Castle streets are older and tighter than the planned communities. A full-size truck often stands at the curb, so the carry from that curb to the door belongs in the quote.
Orlando International Airport is east of Pine Castle. Belle Isle is the small city between Pine Castle and the airport. A job that starts in an airport-area building or a short-term rental still needs the loading door and the hours the property allows. That stop is not planned like a house on a quiet Pine Castle street. Taft sits just south of Pine Castle if the address is near the county line rather than the airport.
Roads south of downtown
Florida's Turnpike runs north-south through this part of Orange County and continues into Kissimmee. State Road 417 runs along the east side, toward Lake Nona and the airport. Orange Avenue through Pine Castle is State Road 527. US 17, US 92, and US 441 are Orange Blossom Trail, which runs farther west. State Road 528, the Beachline, sits north of Hunters Creek and is the east-west toll road between the airport and the attractions. Boggy Creek Road is the east-side connection from these neighborhoods toward the airport and Lake Nona.
The approach into Southchase is Orange Blossom Trail or Wetherbee Road, not John Young Parkway. John Young Parkway, County Road 423, is the north-south road west of the Turnpike, and it serves Hunters Creek. A Pine Castle stop on Orange Avenue is not the same arrival as a stop on Orange Blossom Trail. Send the road name with the house number.
Interstate 4 is not the direct road into Pine Castle, Meadow Woods, or Hunters Creek. A crew coming from the north uses the Turnpike, State Road 417, or Orange Avenue, depending on which side of the area the door is on. Kissimmee is the next city south, across the county line. Dr. Phillips is to the northwest, on the other side of the Beachline. Name both addresses so the route is the short one.

Which booking fits
Bring the truck when the household is moving from a Pine Castle house to another Central Florida address and you want one crew from door to door. Keep the booking to labor-only when a rental truck or a POD is already in a Hunters Creek driveway or a Meadow Woods lot. Use the apartment notes when the hard part is an elevator at a Southchase or Meadow Woods building. Packing is separate, for rooms that are still open. The Orlando page is the hub when the other stop is outside these four neighborhoods. The Kissimmee page is the next stop south.
